Development to burn-in equipment
Siphorex two-phase CPU/GPU coolers for data centers are suitable for server applications as well as socket cooling for semiconductor burn-in equipment. Custom designs are available for high-heat models.
Siphorex operating principle
Sumitomo Precision Products' Siphorex is a self-circulating "two-phase thermosiphon cooler" (phase-change cooler) that efficiently transfers heat by utilizing the boiling and condensation of refrigerant. It maintains excellent air cooling performance and achieves stable cooling even for high-heat-generating CPUs/GPUs.
Internal structure
- ① The working fluid in the boiling section absorbs heat and boils.
- ② The vaporized working fluid is cooled in the condensing section and returns to a liquid.
