Sumitomo Precision Products Co., Ltd. 's Aerospace Division has more than half a century of experience as a company in the aerospace and defense fields, and its basic philosophy is to "provide safe products that customers can trust in a timely manner at competitive prices" using advanced technology that is consistent across all stages from design and development, manufacturing, maintenance, to customer service.
In other words, we do not pursue quick profits, but rather, through prudent business activities, provide customers with reliable products that meet their requirements at reasonable prices, and respond to the needs of our customers and society as a leading company in this field.
The quality policy of the Aerospace Division is to apply AS 9100 and related standards, and to establish an economical and effective quality management system based on the following, and to promote various activities to achieve customer satisfaction and product requirements.
(1) Compliance
We will comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and social rules, as well as internal company rules and procedures, and will never neglect compliance in our corporate activities.
(2) Flight safety first
All personnel will be aware of this quality policy and participate in quality management activities with a strong sense of responsibility and a high level of quality awareness. This will ensure the reliable product quality essential for flight safety and prevent non-conforming products from being produced or released.
(3) Customer satisfaction
All staff members will be aware of and carry out continuous improvement activities, and become a company that is highly rated by customers and can obtain customer satisfaction.
(4) Achieving quality goals
We clarify responsibility and authority for all operations, from product inquiries to contracts, design, development, purchasing, manufacturing, maintenance, inspection, delivery and customer service, and all personnel work towards achieving our quality targets.
(5) Continuous improvement
In implementing the quality management system, we set quality goals for each department and individual, and all personnel are aware of their role in achieving these goals. To ensure that this system functions effectively, we regularly evaluate its effectiveness and strive for continuous improvement.
(6) Achieving business plans
We will accurately and timely grasp trends in customers and society, and effectively utilize the potential that our division has cultivated to date to achieve a management plan aimed at business continuity with a long-term perspective.
