Requests and negotiations
Our clients are aircraft engine and system manufacturers around the world, including Rolls-Royce plc and Collins Aerospace. First, we listen to the order. Depending on the content, we form a project team consisting of representatives from various departments, such as sales, design, production engineering, production planning, procurement, and quality assurance. We then move on to proposing quotes, negotiating contracts, and preparing for development.

- The role of the sales department is to accurately understand the client's needs and quickly communicate them to the project team. Once the project gets underway, the sales department acts as an intermediary between the client and the development team, coordinating everything from price and contract negotiations to delivery. This role oversees the entire project.
Specification review and design
The project team begins a meeting. At this stage, the design process begins first. What kind of design is needed to meet the requirements? Drawings are created and opinions are exchanged with members of production technology, procurement, and quality assurance. Other tasks include coordinating prototyping and testing for the client, and making presentations and conducting analysis to solidify the image of the finished product.

But we also take into consideration all sorts of factors when designing, such as whether the design is easy to manufacture, whether it will be easy to procure parts and materials, and whether we can keep costs down.
Parts Procurement
We source the necessary parts from around the world based on drawings. We don't just collect the cheapest parts. We need parts of stable quality, delivered quickly and cheaply. We proceed with procurement while considering what cost performance we should aim for.

I believe that the role of procurement is to put ourselves in the shoes of Precision and the other half of the supplier, find a mutually acceptable solution, and work together to create a business that adds value.
Production Technology Development
The review and development of the production process begins. Team building is carried out within the production department to establish the manufacturing flow, including technology review, manufacturing procedures, whether or not to introduce equipment, developing jigs, and staff allocation. Professionals in each process share ideas to put together the best system.

The most important thing is to have a deep understanding of the intent behind the drawings. If you understand the intent, you can propose partial changes to the design. It also makes it easier to resolve issues that arise on the manufacturing floor. Production technology, located between development and the manufacturing floor, uses technology and ideas to turn ideas from dreams into reality.
Manufacturing and Quality Assurance
Once the contract, drawings, materials, and production system are all in place, production finally begins. During production, we check every detail to ensure that the product performs as expected, meets the specifications, and is free of any defects, and we only ship products that pass. Even after shipping, we continue to respond to client inquiries about technology and quality, ensuring that we maintain quality.

- It is often said that quality assurance is the last line of defense. In fact, it is important to prevent this from happening. From the development stage onwards, we propose opinions and ideas about quality to members of the design, production engineering, and procurement departments. Because we oversee the entire manufacturing process, we can send products out into the world with our stamp of approval.
