My job description
I provide quality assurance for landing gear systems for commercial aircraft, including small business jets. When you think of quality assurance, you might think of a job that involves final product checks, but it's much more than that. From the development process, such as design and production process setup, to metal processing, and the shape and dimensions of the finished product, I guarantee the quality of everything, both the work and the product. I also respond to quality-related inquiries after delivery, so my work continues even after the product is made. Customer trust. Our technology and the pride we take in it. The safety and security of aircraft users. My job is to guarantee all of these things.
Job satisfaction
When I was a student, I wanted to create things, so I joined a human-powered aircraft club, and that's when I fell in love with aircraft. After taking off into the sky, the large landing gear would neatly fold and retract, and I thought it was a cool, robotic movement. It's very rewarding to see this passion translate directly into my work. In particular, our aerospace equipment division makes a wide variety of landing gear systems for a variety of manufacturers. I'm often surprised by how these aircraft work, and it makes me excited every day. I think the ability to come into contact with many different aircraft and gain a deep understanding of their technology is one of the fascinating aspects of working for a supplier that handles a wide variety of aircraft.
Difficulty of the job
We receive inquiries from customers after delivery. Depending on the content of the inquiry, work can suddenly become hectic. Inquiries about product defects are particularly challenging. Since we thoroughly check the quality of products before shipping, it is difficult just to find out why the defect occurred and where it occurred. What's more, customers want the problem resolved quickly! Feeling impatient and under pressure, we are required to calmly check each issue one by one and investigate the cause. Our company is trusted and chosen by customers because of our high technology and reliable quality. At the same time, we ourselves take pride in that. Maintaining trust and pride is the weight of that responsibility, which is what makes our work so difficult.

The good points of the company
Our company is located near an airport, so we often see the sights and movements of airplanes flying nearby. When I think, "Our landing gear is in use," or "Our heat exchanger is working right now," it makes my work even more rewarding. It's hard to put into words, but I feel something like an exhilarating sensation when I look up at the sky. We are proud to be able to create products that inspire such wonderful thoughts, together with our colleagues who never lose their sense of humor. I would encourage everyone to experience this charm for themselves.
