Landing Gear drop test facility
1. We have three units: large, medium and small.
2. Drop tests are tests in which aircraft landing gear is dropped under simulating actual landing conditions to evaluate the aircraft's ability to absorb descent energy.
3. It consists of a drop tower that lifts and separates the landing gear, a reaction force table that measures the vertical and horizontal reaction forces generated during landing, a tire rotation device that rotates the tires in the backward direction before the landing gear drops to simulate tire spin-up during landing, and a lift simulation device that simulates the lift force on the aircraft.

Note: When landing, an aircraft descends at a constant speed when the aircraft weight and the lift generated by the main wings are in balance. A lift simulator is used to simulate this state, and it applies an upward load equal to the lift force to the landing gear (drop body) using an air cylinder.
