quality
We have established the Sumitomo Precision Products Group Quality Policy based on our corporate philosophy, and are continuously conducting educational activities to raise awareness of quality compliance, including at our domestic and overseas subsidiaries.
Furthermore, in order to promote activities related to compliance with customer requirements, laws, regulations, standards, etc., we have established a Quality Management Group under the Legal and Compliance Promotion Department, and have put in place a system to maintain and improve quality compliance.
As part of this, we have established Sumitomo Precision Products Group Quality Committee and formulated the "Sumitomo Precision Products Group Quality Management System Requirements," which add our own quality compliance promotion items to ISO 9001. Going forward, we will further strengthen quality compliance in each business unit and subsidiary.

supply chain
The Minebea Group positions the establishment of a good and solid supply chain as the core of its continuous business development and has established the Sumitomo Precision Products Group Basic Procurement Policy, which is based on the following three principles: (1) thorough compliance, (2) establishment of a sound competitive environment based on fair transactions, and (3) pursuit of sustainable partnerships that contribute to mutual development.
We promote procurement activities in accordance with this policy through such initiatives as informing suppliers of the Basic Procurement Policy, establishing a compliance reporting desk, and ascertaining the status of CSR activities of suppliers through a supplier award system and questionnaire surveys.
We will continue our efforts to build a sustainable supply chain to meet the expectations of our stakeholders.

human rights
We have established the Sumitomo Precision Products Group Human Rights Policy based on the belief that conducting business activities while respecting the human rights of all people involved in our group and its supply chain is one of the most important issues for a company. We will promote appropriate awareness-raising activities to ensure that all officers and employees of our group understand and implement this policy, and will strive to avoid violating the human rights of people who are directly or indirectly affected by the business activities of our group and its supply chain.
Additionally, as part of our educational and awareness-raising activities to foster mutual respect for diversity among our employees, we hold annual human rights and diversity lectures, distribute educational materials during Human Rights Week, and provide education to employees, including new graduates and mid-career hires, in an effort to develop our business while upholding high ethical standards.

Health and Productivity Management
We have established the Sumitomo Precision Products Group Health and Productivity Management Declaration, which is based on our corporate philosophy of "valuing people and striving to realize and harmonize diverse individuality." We are proactively working on health and productivity management, and are working to maintain and improve the health of our employees through activities to improve various health indicators in cooperation with the health insurance association.
As part of our health management efforts, we aim to "increase the rate of employees undergoing health checkups," and we provide employees with opportunities to prevent lifestyle-related diseases and to detect and treat serious illnesses at an early stage by making health checkups mandatory for all employees who reach a certain age.
Regarding mental health, we are proactively working to prevent mental health disorders, including stress checks that are taken by over 98% of all employees, education for newly appointed managers, support for returning to work by industrial physicians and human resources staff, and the establishment of a consultation room with external counselors.
